NS Viewer (Neutral STEP Viewer) is a high-performance interactive tool for viewing 2D/3D product models. NS Viewer reads STEP files and displays the product models that they include, as well as product information, assembly information, and shape information about each model.
NS Viewer is in accordance with the STEP international standards for the exchange of product model data.
NS Viewer supports the following STEP APs:
Display the geometrical shapes of models, and drawing sheets.
NS Viewer displays the geometrical shapes of models, drawing sheets, draughting models,
and styled models, so you can check shape and annotations visually.
Analyzes STEP file syntax.
In NS Viewer, HOP Library reads a STEP file at high speed, uncovering any syntax errors detected from STEP/Part 21 and the target AP.

Lists STEP file elements.
NS Viewer displays a list of elements contained in a STEP file. This is useful for understanding an outline of the STEP file. This list can be converted to a file of CSV form.

Displays product information.
NS Viewer displays the product information included in a STEP file, such as product names, product identifications, creation information (creators, creation dates, etc.), approval information (approval persons, approval dates, etc.). And in AP202, drawing information,
such as drawing names and drawing sheet numbers, are included as well.

Displays assembly trees.
NS Viewer displays the assembly trees of the products included in a STEP file.

Analyzes models.
When you choose an edge, a face, or an annotation, its element number is displayed.
From the chosen face or edge, NS Viewer searches directly connected faces. And you can limit the display to specific faces--for example, directly connected faces only.

Supports MOSLA long-term CAD data archiving specifications.
In AP202 and AP203, NS Viewer also supports the subset of the long-term CAD data archiving format specified by MOSLA (Maturity Of Standard for Long-term CAD data Archiving).
In addition, we are the secretariats of MOSLA.
Supports SCADEC 2D CAD data exchange specifications.
In STEP/AP202, NS Viewer also supports the subset of the 2D CAD data exchange format specified by SCADEC
(Standard Development Consortium for CAD data exchange in Japanese Construction field).
The SCADEC drawing data (2D CAD data) format shall be used by the construction sector (civil engineering, construction) with public procurement activities in the Japanese Government.
